Horton cum Studley, as the name suggests, is a rural community approximately mid-way between Oxford and Bicester. The nearest postcode is OX33 1AD, or for followers of GPS - 51.805265N 1.140420W.

The best way to get there is by car - there are virtually no bus services. If coming from further afield, there are train services to Oxford (11 miles away), Bicester North (11 miles), Bicester Village (9 miles) and Islip (6 miles), but these will generally rely on you taking a taxi unless you have arranged a lift. Taxis, of course, are expensive eg Bicester North to Horton cum Studley will be around £24 each way!

If coming to Oxford station, it is possible to catch a No 8 bus from Oxford city centre (only a short walk from the station) to Barton, but that will still leave you some 4 miles away from the Millennium Hall.

These are some Oxford and Bicester taxi companies (others are available!):

001 Taxis - 01865 240000
Royal Cars - 01865 777333
Oxford City Cars - 01865 703030

001 Alpha Cars - 01869 252525
Bicester Taxis - 01869 240000

We recommend that you contact running clubs in your area to coordinate lifts. If you are having difficulties, please contact:
Jill Meyjes (01865 351496 or who may be able to put you in contact with other runners.
